General Information

Admission requirements


Students MUST have a high school diploma or GED prior to enrollment in any full time program. Also students are required to complete the following WorkKeys assessments for: Reading for Information, Locating Information and Applied Mathematics prior to starting any full time program.

Consumer Information

Information is available in the Adult Education Office concerning the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, completion rates, Campus Security Report, Drug Free Workplace Policy and other consumer information that may be of interest to our students.

Fees

Fees are payable at the time of registration. No person may enter a class unless fees have been paid in full. There will be a $20 charge for any check returned with insufficient funds. A $25.00 fee is charged for course withdrawal.

Senior Citizens

All persons age 60 or older qualify for a 10% discount on courses. This discount must be requested at the time of registration and does not apply to one or two day workshops or seminars.

Student Conduct

Students attending the TCTC Adult Training Center are expected to adhere to all regulations set forth by the TCTC Board of Education and the TCTC Adult Training Center Student Handbook.

Books and Supplies

All course fees for full and part time programs include books and supplies unless otherwise indicated in the course listing. Students are required to be equipped with the necessary protective clothing and safety glasses and to adhere to all school and shop rules. Students may be required to provide their own hand tools in some classes.
