Licensed Practical Nurse

Job opportunities are on the rise, and nursing jobs are available everywhere. Graduates are prepared to take the NCLEX-PN (State Board Licensing Exam) to become a Licensed Practical Nurse, enabling them to work anywhere in the United States. Students enrolling in this program receive instruction in theory as well as hands-on-clinical experience in acute care and rehab hospitals, nursing homes, and community health care sites. Financial aid available for those who qualify. Cost includes PDA loaded with nursing resource software, plus all books and uniforms. A pre-entrance test and special admissions criteria must be completed prior to entering the program.

The eleven month daytime class begins yearly in August and ends in July of the next year. Classes meet Monday through Friday, 7:00a.m to 2:35p.m. A PM program runs for two years, three nights per week and one Saturday day turn per month and will begin in February 2008.
