Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant program offers students a broad spectrum of courses designed to prepare them for multiple positions in the medical field. Students who complete this program can assist the doctor in the exam room and also work in the front office where administrative skills are vital. Qualified students have the opportunity to become nationally certified by taking the American Association of  Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT) exam. Students who meet the requirements may also take the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) exam to become a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Exams included in cost.
