An experienced guidance counselor is available for daytime or evening appointments to assist students and advise in the selection of suitable programs, registration, and provision of occupational information. The counseling service is designed to provide a variety of services to adult students. The following forms of Financial Aid are available only to students in full-time career training programs

"Hope" tax credits may be available for those who attend the TCTC Adult Training Center. These allow a credit of 100% of the first $1000 and 50% of the next $1000 per student for the first two years following high school.
The "Lifetime Learning" credit is available for all post-secondary education courses used to gain or improve job skills. The credit is equal to 20% of the first $500 of tuition costs.
Payment plans are available for any student attending a full-time program. Payment plans may be used in combination with grants and loans to pay off balances due. Students who request a payment plan are required to place a $75.00 deposit in order to reserve a place in the program. The balance owed will be divided over the number of months the program meets. All payment plans are interest-free, but must be paid by the 10th of the month to avoid late charges. The cost of the program must be paid in full prior to graduation.
The TCTC Adult Training Center provides placement services to all students who graduate from full-time programs. Students are interviewed and registered for this service as they complete their course of study.
